Why did Chili's stop making the blooming onion?

I went to one the other day, said they have taken it off their menu.Why did Chili's stop making the blooming onion?
It wasn't selling it was unbelievably bad for you. It was no longer cost effective, It contained ingredients (4 actually) that were only used for that one item. My store sold about 15 a week. Also very labor intensive to make. SO. . . . They got rid of it.

They possibly are caught up in the health crazy sweeping the nation. That onion was the only thing on their menu that made the list on the top 20 worst foods in America. It ranked #2.
Probably because it wasn't selling. Thats how most restaurants make their menu decisions.
Probably because the trans-fat police were harassing them.
I thought the blooming onion was an Outback Steakhouse item.
Go to Outback ... their's is wonderful, especially the sauce with it
