Raspberry second blooms?

I have some raspberries that bloomed early in the year and now are producing a second batch. Is this common with raspberries?Raspberry second blooms?
Some raspberries are considered ';summer-bearing'; and many are considered ';everbearing.'; The summer ones bear one large crop that ripens within a week or so, and the everbearing ones usually set a larger crop first and then a smaller crop later in the season. Sounds as if you have an everbearing variety.
